Safety and Innovation

Safety is our promise

BOH looks at safety as an investment, not as a cost. Providing a safe environment for our employees is the best investment because our biggest investment is people.

We are committed to the highest standards of health and safety for our employees and customers, as well as for the environment in which we work and live. Intensive safety training for employees begins on day one at BOH, with regular updates throughout the year. Because we know that each job is unique, we build safety monitoring, measurement, and review into our everyday practices.

Safety is one of the most important elements of any injury and illness prevention program. Our training protocol is: a core element in employee training, current with the latest best practices, and integrated into every action on the job through the injury and illness prevention program.

Safety certifications are achieved using a combination of in-house and online training.

Examples of the training programs our employees and owner-operators receive are:
  • SafeLandUSA
  • OSHA 10
  • H2S (hydrogen sulfide safety)
  • Bloodborne Pathogens
  • Confined Spaces
  • Drivers Safety
  • Fatigue Management
  • First Aid
  • HAZCOM (hazard communication)
